Standing up for Floridians with courage, conviction, and a commitment to real change. No lobbyist money. No political games. Just honest representation.
Experience. Resilience. Leadership.
From surviving childhood abuse in Detroit to becoming a powerful voice for women's rights, Lateresa's journey has shaped her understanding of resilience and the importance of standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. She worked to support the Violence Against Women Act in 1994 and continues to be a fierce advocate for survivors.
As a successful entrepreneur and small business owner, Lateresa understands the challenges facing Florida's business community. She was the first Black woman to own a cigar shop in Texas and has built Elite Mobile Phlebotomy from the ground up. She knows what it takes to create jobs and strengthen our economy.
Lateresa has dedicated her life to community organizing and civic engagement. She organized grassroots efforts to increase voter participation in the 2016 presidential election and served as a Grassroots Inauguration Organizer in Florida in 2017. Her campaign is powered by people, not corporate PACs.
Real Solutions for Real People
Supporting small businesses, creating good-paying jobs, and ensuring that the American Dream remains within reach for every Floridian. No special interest handouts—just economic policies that work for working families.
Investing in our schools, supporting teachers, and ensuring every child has access to quality education. Our children are our future, and they deserve the resources and opportunities to succeed.
Fighting for affordable, accessible healthcare for all Floridians. No family should have to choose between medical care and putting food on the table.
Honoring our commitment to those who served and supporting Florida's families. From healthcare to housing, our veterans and their families deserve our unwavering support.
Refusing lobbyist money and corporate PAC contributions. Washington is broken because politicians answer to special interests instead of the people. That ends here.
As a survivor and advocate, Lateresa will continue the fight against domestic violence and sexual abuse, ensuring that every woman has a voice and the protection they deserve.
Leadership that puts people first
"Experience of LIFE is my best teacher. I don't have a million dollars, nor will I accept the dirty pimping lobbyist money. I will stand for the people, I am the people and know what our kids need and what we Floridians need to continue working making the American dream a reality."
